The unemployed at Newcastle decided to attempt to organise mass demonstrations in Sydney, Newcastle, Kurrikurri, Cessnock and the south coast mining towns to-morrow night, in an effort to force the Government to withdraw police reinforcements from Cessnock.
Further trouble developed at Broken Hill, where numbers of unemployed deliberately committed offences so that they would be arrested.
