DENTAL CLINICS.
CHARGES NOT TO BE RAISED YET ' (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, October 26. ■■ In' the House of Representatives this afternoon, Mr F. Jones (Lab., Du n ~ ■edin South) asked whether the Government intended to carry out the recommendation of..the National Expenditure Commission to charge dental clinic committees £IOO a nurse. He said that the present charge was £3O a nurse, and any increase would mean that many clinics would be closed. Committees at the present time had great difficulty in raising sufficient money to meet this and other charges ip connection with the maintenance of clinics. The Hon. J. A. Young replied that there was no intention at present to make such a charge.
