ALL OWNERS and OCCUPIERS are required to thoroughly CLEAN THE WATER RACES running through their properties during the undermentioned periods, when the Gates at the Intakes will he closed down to facilitate the work of cleaning. Clause 10, of “The Waterworks ByLaws,” provides that a PENALTY of £2O may be imposed for the non-ob-servance of the conditions. Occupiers, whose races are uncleaned after the period stated below, will be liable to the Penalty, and the races will be cleaned, at the Occupier’s expense, without further notice. I.—E Races and Branches, Chertsey Rakaia District, from August 15th to 20th, inclusive. 2.—C and D Races and Branches, Chertsey-Dromore District, August 22nd-27th, inclusive. 3. —A, B, and F Races and Branches, Dromore, Ashburton, and Winchmore Disti’icts, Wakanui and Seafield Mains and Sub-mains, August 22nd-27th, inclusive. 4.—Ashburton Forks, Springburn, Mount Somers and Alford Races, August 29th-September 3rd, inclusive. 5.
