DAVIS CUP CONTEST. JAPAN ENTERS SEMI-FINALS. (Received This Day 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 10. In the Davis Cup match at Warsaw, Lee (Britain) beat Solarow (Poland), 6-4, 6-3, 6-3; Perry (Britain) beat Itloczynski 7-5, 8-6, 6-2. At Copenhagen, Japan entered the semi-final of the European Zone and eliminated Denmark. The doubles resulted : Jiro Mild (Japan) beat Ulrich Henricksen 6-3, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2. At Berlin, Prenn (Germany) beat Maguire (Ireland) 6-1, 6-1, 6-1; Rogers (Ireland) beat Von Cramm (Germany) 6-4, 10-8, 4-6, 6-4. UNITED STATES DEFEATS BRAZIL (Received This Day 1 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 10. In the final ctf the American Zone of the Davis Cup contest, played between the United States and Brazil at Forest Hills, Van Ryn and Allison (U.S.A.; defend Ivo Simone and Pernanibuca (Brazil) 6-1, 6-2.
