INTEREST DUE TO AMERICA.
COMMONWEALTH LIABILITY. (United Press Association-—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, January 14. The Commonwealth has remitted to New York 1,850,000 dollars interest due to-morrow on the Commonwealth loan of 75,000,000 dollars raised in 1925. Dollars were bought in London at the current rate of exchange, whereby the pound is worth 14 shillings. In addition;, the'Commonwealth lost the Australian exchange of 25 per cent.
