TWO MEN SHOT DEAD
NEW SOUTH WALES TRAGEDIES. • United Press Association—Copyright) SYDNEY,- October 18. The husbands of two women m different parts of the State were killed yesterdav under similar circumstances. Whiter Peddell. aged 50, was shot dead, while violently assaulting his wife at Gunnedah. The. police have ascertained that Feddell's son attempted to protect his mother, and a rifle was fired during the altercation. , ~ The other instance was at burry Hills, the victim being George Inman, aged 33, who, while attacking his wife, was fatallv shot with a revolver by a man who'heard Mrs Inmam's screams and went to her assistance, jand after a terrific struggle allegedly Avas compelled to use the revolver for his, own protection.
