COUNTY SHIELD COMPETITION.
METHVEN DEFEATS DORIE
A team -from the Dorie Miniature Rifle Club visited Methven and fired a match in conjunction, with the second round of the County Shield competition. The result was a win for the home club by 609 points to 606.
THE METHVEN CLUB. Shooting for the Club Cup at' the Methven miniature Fine Club's weekly shoot, W. Lumsden won with a score of 65 (hep. 5), total 70. There was keen competition for the Hotty button, which was won by H. Noble with a possible. Other good scores were: S. Hyland 69, J. E. Carr 69, J. Anderson 68, M. Holland 68.
