140 COALMINERS FINED.
\ THE TROUBLE AT WALLSEND
(Per Press Association). GREYMOUTH, This Day. In a reserved decision in the case of the Inspector of Awards versus the Wallsend miners, Mr Meldrum, S.M. fined 140 of the latter 10s each and one shilling costs, for taking part in an unlawful strike on June 17 and 18. An appear is probable on a point of law.
