SENTENCES AfT AUCKLAND. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, August 17. Among the prisoners sentenced by Mr Justice Herdman to-day was Henry Alfred Richardson, aged 37, a shop manager, for stealing £l5O from his employers at Hamilton. He received eighteen months' reformative detention. It was stated that full restitution would be made. The Judge said* that the theft was incomprehensible as the prisoner was getting a good wage and was stated to have £4 weekly as a private income. Edward Francis George Moore, for stealing postal packets containing money, was sentenced to nine months' hard 'labour.
