BRITISH WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP. MISS WILSON WINS THE TITLE. ('Received This Day, 11 a.m.) LONDON, June 12. After an. exciting match, Miss Enid Wilson to-day won the women’s open golf championship, beating Miss Wanda Morgan 7up and 6to play. _ The foreign competitors were eliminated in the early rounds. The contest between the English finalists was followed by a large gallery. Miss Wilson has twice won the English women’s championship. In the semi-final, Miss Morgan beat Miss Gourlay, who lor the twelfth time was frustrated in her attempt to win the championship.—British Official Wireless.
