SHOT IN HEAD.
DRAPER DIES IN HOSPITAL. 1 FOUND WOUNDED IN HIS OFFICE The death occurred in the Ashburton Public Hospital shortly after noon today of Mr Cyril Leslie Collins, aged about 37, who has carried on a mercery and drapery business in Saunders’ Buildings, at the corner of Wills and East streets. Mr found in his office by his wife at 11.45 o’clock to-day with a bullet wound in his head and a pearifle clutched in his right hand. He was taken the hospital, but died shortly after he was admitted. Mr Collins had been in conversation with a friend only a short while before lie was found, and had arranged to be one of a shooting party next Sunday. He leaves a wife and three children.
