LONDON WOOL SALES. (United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Dav, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March IS. At the wool sales 11,736 bales were offered, including 1195 New Zealand. Practically all were soldi. There was a small selection of merinoes and a largo offei-ing of greasy crossbreds, with a moderate supply of scoureds and slipes. Excellent and more general competition. prevailed. Prices wei-e firm at full late rates, oeasionally in sellers’ favour. New Zealand disposals were: Greasy crossbreds, Mohakatino, lOd to 9‘d: Mangaruhe, 10Jd to 9£d ; Ashcott, to 9|d; Huiarau, IOJd to 10d; merinoes, Bankhouse, 12-ld to 12d. LONDON WHEAT MARKET. (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, March 17. The market for wheat cargoes is featureless. Sellers are willing to accept lower prices, but buyers are reserved. .
