MR PHILIP SNOWDEN.
THE BUDGET MAY BE DELAYED. (United Press Association —Copyright). LONDON, March 17. Mr Philip Snowden, who underwent an operation yesterday, passed, a good night. He is going on as well as can be expected. Newspapers state that the Government may delay the introduction of the Budget if there is a prospect of the Chancellor of the Exchequer having sufficiently recovered to undertake the task by the third week in April. Mrs Snowden, however, is confident that the patient will be quite recovered in time.— British Official Wireess.
