MOSLEMS AND HiNDUS CLASH. THE POLICE FORCED TO FIRE. (United Press Association—Copyright). DELHI, March 18. With the date of the next Round Table Conference fixed for autumn, Hindu and Moslem leaders throughout India are concentrating on efforts to solve their communal differences before going to London. Meanwhile there is severe tension between Moslems and Hindus at Agra, where one was killed and over fifty persons were injured in a series of clashes following the action of memlxrs of a Hindu procession playing music iu front of a..mosque where Moslems were praying. Several police attempting to stop the ensuing riot were severely injured. Clashes occurred through the night and the police were forced to fire to disperse the threatening crowds. The shops of both communities were looted and destroyed. Armed police are patrolling the town.
