TRIBUTE BY THE COMMONS. (United Press Association— Copyright). LONDON, March 10. The House of Commons to-day formally recorded its sorrow at the w> timelv death of the Lord Privy Seal, Mr Vernon Hartshorn 1 . The Prime Minister described him as one of the men of humble origin who. in this generation bad stepped into high office and had done their work with signal devotion and success. . . Mr Stanley Baldwin, expressing his sympathy on behalf of the Onnosition, said Air" Hortshorn had set an example of duty plainly and simply done. Mr Lloyd George said he had known Mr Hortshorn for. 30 years and latterly had frequently conferred with him on unemployment problems, which he approached with broadmindednoss and exceptional independence of judgment.
