WELLINGTON RACES. CONCLUDING EVENTS. (Per I'ress Association). WELLINGTON, March 17. The Wellington Racing Club's autumn meeting was concluded to-day in overcast weather. Light misty showers fell early, hut the track was not affected.' The attendance was moderate. The totalisator investments were £32,215, making £68,930 10s for the meeting, compared with £102,123 a year ago, a decrease of £33,192 10s Concluding results:— Muritai Handicap—2 Chief Joy 1, 3 Simha 2, 4 Playground 3. Scratched: Glenrossie, Appeal. Won hy half a length, one length between second and third. Time, lmin 41sec. Pacific- Handicap, of 400 sovs; six furlongs.—.! Bronze Eagle (H. OHINEMURI RACES. CONCLUDING EVENTS. PAEROA. March 17. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club concluded its annual meeting to-day in fine weather. The totalisator investments were £12,291 10s, making a total of £55,859 10s for the meeting, a decrease of £17,457 10s compared with a year ago. Concluding results: Shaw Memorial Handicap*—Sir Mond 1, Marjoram and Eager Rose (dead heat) 2. Scr: Royal Doulton, Haviland, Grand Tea, Brampton, High Pitch. Won by a head. Time, 1.46. St. Patrick's Handicap, of 250 sovs; six furlongs.—l Biddy's Boy (Smith) 1, 4 Hampton Park 2, Hiata 3. Won by 2?, lengths, a neck between second and third. Time, lmin Msec. OPUNAKE RACING CLUB. MONOLOF WINS CTP. HAWERA, March 17. The Opnake Racing Club's annual meeting was held to-day in showery weather before a lair attendance. The rain was not sufficient to affect the track seriouslv. The totalisator handled £9297 U)s, compared with £19,119 last year.
