INSPECTION BANNED.
SOVIET WHEAT FARMS. SHOCKING CONDITIONS. (United Press Association— Copyright). (Received This I>ay, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, March 17. The authorities at' Moscow have refused a Canadian journalist, now in London, permission to go to Russia in order that he might inspect the State wheat farms. Tins ban is presumably owing to Canada's recent action against dumping and a desire to prevent publicity regarding the methods under which peasants', confiscated farms are now conducted by men and women labourers, living in barracks in shocking conditions, disclosure oi which would be detrimental to the disposal of grain abroad.
