R U (rby reformers are meeting many difficulties, notably the reluctance of many clubs to abandon money-making matches, which, although a travesty of Rugby, met the spectators' desire to see almost terrifying struggles n championship matches. The opponents to reform threaten worse contusion to creating a third federation, their objective' being the maintenance ot the championships.
