Won by five lengths, the second horse two lengths awayi. Time, 3.40. Trial Handicap—l Compromise 1, 10 Lord Antrim 2, 8 Royal Parade 3. All started. Won by three lengths, the third horse two lengths away. Time, 3 27. Timaru Cup—2 Hilo Minto 1, 7 Cranleigh 2, 14 Hostess 3. Ail stalled. Won by a length, third horse a neck away. Time, 4.13 1-5.
