The members of St. John’s Presbyterian Bible-class, Methven, gave a farewell social .to Mr Wilfred Morrison, one of their members, who is shortly leaving for England. An enjoyable time was spent m games and competitions, and a dainty supper was served. On behalf of his classmates, the Rev R. Morgan presented Sir Morrison with a Bible, and wished him an enjoyable voyage • and a successful future. RAKAIA. A meeting- of the Rakaia Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild was held m the wt. Andrew’s schoolroom on Wednesday afternoon, when Mrs Oakley presided over a good attendance. Arrangements iii connection with the bazaar to be held in the Town Hall on March 26 m aid of church funds were completed.
