FRENCH AFRICAN ROUTE. GIRL JOINS IN FLIGHT. LONDON, March 3. An adventurous flight to Cape Town along the desolate coasts of Morocco and Rio de Oro, and over West African rivers, has been begun from Hanworth. Miss Delphine Reynolds, daughter of Sir James Reynolds, a member of the Mouse of Commons, accompanies Flight-Lieutenant Pudney, in a Black-burn-Bluebird aeroplane. They are following the French-African air route as far as Senegal. The next stop will be made at Bathurst, where floats are tp be fitted preparatory to surveying the River Gambia and the Ivory and Gold Coasts, with a view to discovering bases between Bathurst and Canabar, to enable a seaplane service to be established to link up British West African possessions.
