SWIMMING.
THE RAKAIA CLUB. Mr R. Breach presided over a meeting of the committee of the Rakaia Swimming Club. The secretary reported that the three meetings which had been held had been very successful. Good entries had been received for the final carnival to be held on Saturday. The following are the points in the various sections for the silver cups: Men’s section, W. Palmer 17, R. Breach .17, P.
