ENORMOUS FORTUNE.
LORD ASHTON’S ESTATE. (United Press Association —Copyright.) LONDON, June 1. The “News of the World” learns that Lord Ashton, who died on May 27, left a fortune of between £30,000,000 and £40,000,000, probably a record for Britain. The estate involved a groat windfall for the nation, as the death duties will possibly amount to £15,000,000.
