COAL SETTLEMENT.
EFFECT ON SHIPPING TRADE. (United Press Association —Copyright.) SYDNEY, June 1. The chairman of the Northern Collevies Association has announced that the reduction in the prices of coal will he:—For inter-State and New Zealand, 3s 3d per ton; for foreign trade. 4s 3d. . , The settlement of the coal deadlock has led to a recommissioning of upwards of fifteen steamers.
