FRENCH RADIUM WORKER. POSTHUMOUS RECOGNITION. I PARTS. April 21. As the well-known radium research expert, Dr. Robert Chaperon, lay dying ’ after years of illness arising from"his work,'the Minister for Public Health, M. Desire Ferry, visited the bedside and bestowed on him the Government’s OJbM M< y da] for Resonron. Dr. Chaperon died last night, and now the Government has awarded him the posthumous Legion of Honour. Dr. Chaperon is one of many unsung heroes who have dedicated their to the cause of medical science anc have endured agonies ior the sake ot suffering humanity.
