SOUTH AFRICAN BILL.
THIRD READING CARRIED. SUBJECT’S TWENTIETH APPEARANCE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, April 11. General Hertzog’s non-party Bill which gives votes to white women 20 years of age, without further qualification, was carried on the third reading by a majority of 39. The question has been before Parliament 20 times previously. A Zululand member predicted grave discontent among_ the native population and weakening of White supremacy as a result of the Bill.
