WANGANUI TROTTING C\.UB. GLENROSSIE WINS THE CUP. (Per Press Association.) WANGANUI, April 10. The Wanganui Trotting Club’s annual meeting was commenced to-day _ in line weather, though there were several light showers. The attendance was fair, and was reflected in. the totalisator turnover, which was £7673 10s for the seven races, against £8578 for eight races last year. The track was ’in good order. Results: — Innovation Handicap (in harness), of 100 sovs; one mile and a half —1 Capilano (J. A. Gerrard) 1, 4 Lee Nelson 2, 12 Bingen Crest 3. Won by a neck; 10 lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 34 3-ssec. Kirkwood Handicap (in harness), of 100 soys; for unhoppled trotters: one mile and a half—3 Blue and Gold (L. 0. Thomas) 1, 4 Joy Ride 2, 5 Peter Eyre 3. Won by half a length • six lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 47 4-ssec. East brook Handicaps (in harness), of 110 sovs ; one mile and a half —2 Harold Logan (R. J. Humphreys) 1, 6 Lady Yvonne 2, 9 Huia Maid 3. Won by half a head; a length between second and third. Time, 3min 33sec. Wanganui Cup (in. harness), of 225 sovs; two Glenrossie (L. O. Thomas) 1, 3 Sir Guy 2, 11 Logan King 3. 'Won by four lengths; half a head between secohd and third. Time, 4min 41 4-ssec.

Foster’s Handicap (in saddle), of 110 sovs; one mile —5 R.ita Thorpe (G. Caddy) 1,2 Lightfoot 2,2 Wee Thorpe (bracketed with Lightfoot) 3. Won by a neck; half a head between segond and third. Time, 2min 23sec. President’s Handicap (in harness), of 120 sovs; for unhoppled trotters; two miles —2 Brian Bingen (H. Garnett) 1, 8 Joyride 2, 6 Rangitero J 3. Won by half a length,* a length and a half between second and third. Time, 4min 57 2-ssee.

Morton Memorial Handicap (in harness), of 1110 soys; one mile and a quarter—2 Sir Guy (O. S. Donald) 1, 3 Zealous 2, 8 Wakefield 3. Won by a head: four lengths between second and third. Time, 2min 53 2-ssec.
