LUXURIOUS YACHT.
J. P. MORGAN’S £500,000 CRAFT. CHRISTENED WITH CHAMPAGNE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 10. A report from Bath (Maine) states that Mr J. P. Morgan’s new yacht, Corrair, which cost £500,000. was launched after the financier’s daughter had cracked a quart of 1915 _ vintage champagne over the bow. This is the first time since Prohibition came into operation that such a christening has taken place at-the historic local shipyards. The luxurious vessel will carry a crew of 58 men. It has a length of 343 i feet over all, and •» displacement of 2712 tons, with a cruising radius of 25,000 miles. All exposed woodwork except the panelling is of Indian teak.
