The ex-Dictator, General Pangalos, who spent 2J years in prison awaiting trial, was to-day convicted, after a three weeks' trial by Senators, of granting concessions under conditions, onerous to the Treasury, or savouring of corruption. He was sentenced to two years' imprisonment and five years' loss of political rights. Other charges are pending.
