ATTACKED BY GULLS.
WOMAN AMD DAUGHTER. (Special to the “Guardian.”* AUCKLAND, April 8. A woman living in Bassett Road, Remucra, and her daughter, aged eight, were attacked by black-headed gulls when crossing the Parnell foreshore to Wilson’s Bay yesterday on' a big sewer which spans that portion of Hobson Bav. , , The child lav down and screamed, while the mother waved her arms and tried to strike tlie birds with her shopping basket, the pair eventually retreating to the Parnell shore.
