MAJESTIC, THEATRE. “The Virginian” will have its initial screening to-night. This is a. tale or the west of America, and. features Gaiy Cooper, Mary Brian, Richard Arlen, Walter Huston, and Chester Conklm. Events led up to a hanging. When Molly (the heroine) learns that 1 lie Virginian participated in the hanging ceremony, she spurns him. Later though, when he is seriously wounded by Trampas (the villain) from amhusn, she nurses him back to health. They plan to marry. On the day of the wedding Trampas comes to town and orders The Virginian to leave by sundown. The Virginian tells Molly that he will be obliged to shoot it out with Trampas. She says that if he does so, their proposed wedding will be stopped. The climax is said to be a fitting one. Good supporting films have been booked. i
