PAUL DEFEATS MORGAN AUCKLAND, April 7. A professional weltcr-weignt contest at the Town Hall to-night between Ted. Morgan (Wellington), lOst 4ib, and Jack Paul (Dunedin), lOst 2-pli, went the full distance of 15 rounds, Paul winning on points. The result was a surprise. Paul showed cleverness, blocking Morgan’s left. Morgan was knocked down in the fourteenth. Icing saved from tiie count by the gong. Tim cowd was so excited that tKy surged round the ring. The decisi m ' was a popular one.
