THE WOOL MARKET. FINAL SALE. AT TIMARU. (Special to the “Guardian.”! . TIMARU, April 5The clearing-up sale of the season was held at Timaru to-day before a full bench of buyers. About 90 per cent, of the offering was sold. Competitipn was keen up to buyers’ limits. Continental and Bradford buyers took the bulk of the offering sold. Top price of the sale was lid for 13 bales of halfbred ewe from Takitu Station. Top price for merinos was 9£d for six bales from Richmond Station. Top price for three-quarter-breds was 9d.
