There is a possibility of Mr Jenkins (Commissioner of Crown Lands) being defeated, and the Attorney-General (Mr Homburg) is being closely pressed, while the Minister of Education is by no means certain of being returned/ Contests were held in 42 constituencies, for which there were 95 candidates. All members of the Assembly and half the members of the Legislative Council went to the country.
