ACHIEVEMENT IN TRANSMISSION

A message from Schenectady states that the General Electric Company has announced that a complete page of a newspaper was transmitted from the "Sun," iSan Francisco, here by radio, For the first time, three hours after the journal was printed;, a distance of '2500 miles. The recording machine was developed by Charles Young, son of Owen D. Young.

Engineers forecast that some day radio may deliver a large part of the business mail and bring tlie daily newspaper into the home, qnite irrespective of distance.
