BENEFICIAL REST ENJOYED.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, March 25. "I am enjoying myself so much that I am in no great hurry to leave Dunedin," said Rear-Admiral Byrd to-day, when he was asked if he had yet made arrangements for a steamer passage to Panama, where is to rejoin the City of New York, which will be travelling in company with the Eleanor Boiling from Tahiti.

Important business is being transacted by the Rear-Admiral daily, hut since the departure of the first unit of the expedition he is finding more time for rest.
