FIELD .DAY AND DEMONSTRATION AT CANTERBURY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, LINCOLN, BY permission of the Board of Governors a FIELD DAY AND DEMONSTRATION Will be held at Lincoln College, on TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 1930, Commencing at 10 a.m. and ending about 3.30 p.m. . The demonstration will be given by Mr J. P. Kalaugher, of Auckland, Official demonstrator, N.Z. Friesian Association. He will deal fully with* all matter relating to the judging of Dairy Cattle, will discuss any points, will reply fully to all questions and will generally make the demonstration particularly suitable for those desirous of becoming qualified to act as official judges. - All Friesian breeders and all persons interested in Dairy I arming are invited to attend. TJ , , Luncheon arranged at Lincoln Hotel 2s 6d per head. CANCER FILM. THIS wonderful film has been loaned bv the University of Otago, to whom it was donated by Sir Lindo Fenmsson. When first shotvn to the International Congress ini London last year it met with a most enthusiastic reception from the world s leading scientists. . There is nothing gruesome or objectionable in this film. It shows enormously magnified, the cells of the body actually growing and moving about, it shows actual cancer cells multiplying and also the dramatic effect of the influence of Radium on the growth of cancer. -> , Dr. D’Arth, Professor of Pathology at the Otago University/ will demonstrate the film which is the first of its kind ever shown and should be seen by every person in the Ashburton County.
