DANGEROUS DRIVING.
PENALTIES IN BRITAIN. SEVERER SCALE FORECASTED. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. The House of Commons Standing Committee on the Traffic Bill accepted the Government’s proposals to abolish the speed limit. Mr H. Morrison (Minister of Transport) hinted at new steps to maintain safety on the roads, with more severe penalties for dangerous driving.
