The Government at Nanking is preparing to resist the advance of the allied" Northern and North-Western armies under Veil Hsi Shan, who announces that to-morrow will _ see the commencement of definite military activities against the Kuomintang. A Taiyuan message states that Ivuomintchun army, under Feng Yu Hsian", is concentrating on Chengchow, where Fong taking up his headquarters, while Vcn proceeds to Pei Ping to establish a provisional military "government. The definite move by Yen is causing a number of smaller generals to offer assistance to overthrow President Chiang Kai Slick.
The Nanking Government is particularly quiet regarding its intentions, though considerable movement ot troops is noticeable.
