SUMMER-TIME ENDS.
CHANGE ON SUNDAY. CLOCKS GO BACK HALF-AN-HOUR All clocks and watches will be officially put back half-an-hour at 2 o'clock next Sunday morning, a movement which will mark the end of the third period of daylight-saving in New Zealand. Summer-time was first introduced into New Zealand in October 1926, when standard time Avas advanced an hour. The following year, and again last year, saw an advancement of half-an-hour, which measure is now permanently on the Statute Book. Standard time will be reverted to from 2 o'clock on Sunday morning until 2 o'clock on the morning of the second Sunday in October.
