RATIFICATION BY REICHSTAG. OBJECTIONS TO AGREEMENTS. (United Press Association— Copyright.) ■LONDON, March 13. The Berlin correspondent of "The Times" states:— • In moving the ratification of tie Young Plan in the Reichstag, the Chancellor '(Dr. Muller) said that Germany accepted the Plan and would honestly do her best to fulfil it. He regarded it as a step toward world peace, besides containing advantages for Germany, namely release from control, reduced reparation payments, and evacuation of the Rhineland. Germany had undertaken heavy obligations, which she would do her best to discharge, not willingly, but lest worse befall , . .. One Deputy, as spokesman for the four main coalition Parties, entered a protest against the liquidation 'agreements with Berlin, Australia, and Now Zealand, adding that his Parties only accepted the liquidations because Britain would otherwise refuse to ratify the Plan. "We regret that England'alone among the creditor Powers receives several hundred million marks of surplus liquidation proceeds, thus drawing supplemental to reparations an income from nrivate sources," he said, but they still hoped the matter would be re-opened in the future. A Communist Deputy announced that a world strike against the Plan had been arranged for May 1. The Reichstag approved the liauidation agreement by 256 votes to 142. •'The Times" Cable.
