THREE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 13. Ganesh Givan, an Indian well known to the police, was found last n ght.out *ide the Mt. Eden prison wall but on the gaol premises near a stonecrusker A warder found him leaving a spot where contraband is often planted foi prisoners. He tried to get away but the warder caught him and charged him with being unlawfully on premises The accused said that he merely went .up to the gaol for 'Permission to leave papers for a fellow countivmJ"\Vell you needn't bother about going there at night any more, 'said the Magistrate (Mr Hunt). You'll see.the stonecrusher every day for the next three months." ,
