STONED BY MOB.
an INDIAN POLICE STATION. ARREST OF MILLHAND RESENTED (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) DELHI, March 11. ' Following the arrest of a millhand, a mob of 5000 jute strikers .stoned the Police Station at Tigagach, and attempted to release the prisoner. The station was badly but gallantly defended by two Indian inspectors and a dozen constables, who charged the crowd in the face of a shower of bricks.
