ACCIDENTS & DEATHS.
SUPPOSED POISONING. (Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., March 6. Captain Henry Cooper, who had been practising as a veterinary surgeon, was admitted to hospital last evening and died shortly afterwards. It is understood that the 'police called at his residence to take him to the station, and that just as the vehicle arrived lie swallowed the contents of a small bottle which had been concealed in a pocket. „
