The Minister of Markets (Mr Maloney) announced the resignation of Mr Haynes as Australian trade representative in Canada, adding that the Government had offered the post to Mr L. R. MacGregor (Director of Marketing in Queensland). So far Mr MacGregor had not accepted the position.
