JEWELS STOLEN.
DURING GANG OPERATES. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, January 16. Motor bandits broke into the residence of Sir Spencer Maryom-Wilson, at Yattendon, and stole jewels valued at £20,000 including a pearl necklace worth £IB,OOO. The burglar.vi was evidently one ot a series committed by a gang of four men and two women, who have been utilising stolen cars. Their escape on this occasion was aided, by the fact tliat a gale had destroyed the telephone lines.
