WEDDING CEREMONY DELAYED. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 10. The late arrival of the officiating clergyman caused temporary consternation among a party gathered for the celebration of a wedding in Auckland to-night. The ceremony was arranged for 7.30, and both the principal parties to the pending pact arrived punctually. However, there was no sign of the minister, who had to travel from Otahuliu to officiate. The minutes dragged, and within the church the groom awaited the bride, who was obliged to_ wait outside in a taxi-cab. As it was necessary for the marriage to be performed before 8 o'clock, it was , decided to send a hurried summons to a neighbouring clergyman., and the verger was about to invoke the necessary aid when the minister from Otahuhu arrived ten minutes late. His apology for an unavoidable late arrival , tendered, the ceremony Avas proceeded with and completed comfortably within the time available.
