The “Sydney Morning Herald” that the Federal Ministry is gravely concerned with the growing unrest on the waterfront caused hv the demand of the watersiders for the immediate removal of non-unionists from every wharf throughout the Commonwealth. It is revealed that the AssistantMinister of Industry (Mr Beasley) recently held a number of secret conferences with waterside workers in Melbourne. Fears are held in Federal circles that a crisis in the maritime industry is threatened, and the Cahiet wilj give special attention to the position at a meeting next week.
