DOUBLE TRAGEDY
MURDER AND SUICIDE. (United Press Association— Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. At the inquiry into the deaths of Strachan Knight and Rene Linton, who were found dead at Cremorne, on May 28, the Coroner found that the case was one of murder and suicide. A Sydney cablegram dated May 8 stated: A tragedy occurred-to-day in a flat at Cremorne. Rene Linton, aged 23, an actress, and her lover, Strachan Knight, aged 22, land salesman, were found shot dead. An automatic revolver was lying beside Knight's body. Knight's mother states that the pair auarrelled during, the week-end. Linton called at Knicht's flat in response to Knight's invitation to-day, and Knight ordered his mother to leave the "room. The. tragedy occurred immediately afterwards. Four bullet wounds were found in Linton's head and breast, and one only in Knight's head.
