CORRUPT PRACTICE. FIVE YEARS' DISQUALIFICATION. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 6. An inquiry regarding the ownership of the horse Niblick was held by the Auckland 'District Committee to-day. It was decided to disqualify for five years from date Ernest G. Rice, for a breach of Rule I. (G.) of Part XXXII. of the Rules of Racing. Part XXXII. of the Rules of Racing deals with corrupt practices and disqualifications, and Clause G. of Rule 1. sets out that if any person refuses to supply any information or to make a' written declaration (statutory or otherwise) or statement respecting any matter connected with racing which the president, executive _ committee, stewards, committee, district committee, stipendiary stewards, or racecourse inspectors shall require him to supply or make he shall be deemed guilty of a corrupt practice, and he and any horse in connection with the entering, training or running of which the corrupt practice shall baye occurred, may be disqualified by the stewards or committee or any club or by any district committee or by the judges of the conference for any specified period or for life. ■
